Es geht natürlich weiter mit unseren virtuellen Azure Meetups. Diesmal konnten wir einen wunderbaren neuen Sprecher zum Thema Terraform finden.

Titel: Using Terraform to provision Azure resources

Beschreibung: If you deploy your (containerized) application from a CI/CD pipeline, it makes a lot of sense to not only store the deployment configuration with your source code, but also the infrastructure definition – thus enabling you to deploy your infrastructure fresh every time and save big on infrastructure maintenance.

In this session we’ll look at Terraform (by HashiCorp) as an alternative to ARM templates and will dissect in detail a plan to deploy a Kubernetes cluster using the Rancher2 provider; we will also look at the Terraform Cloud and its integration with your VCS.
