SharePoint und OneDrive for Business zeigen jetzt mehr als 250 Dateiformate an

Rechtzeitig zum Windows 10 Creators Update, das mit seinen neuen 3D-Funktionen auch mit speziellen Dateiformaten wie 3MF, FBX, OBJ, PLY, STL einhergeht, hat Microsoft in SharePoint und OneDrive for Business die Anzahl der unterstützten Dateiformate erweitert. Es lassen sich jetzt mehr als 250 Formate direkt im Browser ohne zusätzliches Plugin anzeigen.

Aus dem Office-Bereich ist die Unterstützung der Visio-Formate (vsd,vsdx) hervorzuheben – passend dazu der Vortrag von Šenaj Lelić über „Compliance und BPM im Zeitalter der Digitalen Transformation“ von der CeBIT, in dem er ganz speziell auf die Anwendungsmöglichkeiten von Visio eingeht.
